With the possibility of another recession looming on the horizon, people are getting back into cost-cutting mode, coming up with all sorts of crazy schemes in order to save some money. This ad, by Richmond, VA-based The Martin Agency, shows the lengths one man went to in order to save on his electricity bill. Though the way he came about his cost-cutting method is pretty darn impressive, he probably would have been a bit better off had he decided to save on his insurance rates by going with Geico.
