If you’re anything like us, you hold onto your Ikea catalogue until the next year’s edition comes out. Well, now it looks like it’ll take you all year to get through the content anyways. This new promo trailer for the catalogue, by McCann New York, shows off the multiple layers of AR that you can access through your phone or tablet. The video itself is a continuous shot of miniature sets that look like they’ve been built by hand, lending this futuristic experience a retro feel. Now if only they had an augmented app that would put the furniture in the room – that’d be really cool. Oh well, maybe next year?
