Chicken business

The hottest barnyard animal in ad-land.

Why did the chicken cross the road? To star in his own commercial? We’ve noticed a curious (very curious) trend in the past two weeks: Chickens. Seriously, they seem to be popping up in the most random of ads, including Mercedes-Benz, the Kiev International Advertising Festival and Foster Farms (Okay, that one makes sense). Take a look at all this chicken business, and then weigh in: will it replace catvertising as the go-to animal of choice? And can we please get an answer to the age-old conundrum: what came first – the chicken or the ad?
