Can’t be bothered

Optus fills Aussies in on Netflix, despite Ricky Gervais' best efforts.

Haven’t heard of Optus? It’s okay, neither has Ricky Gervais. But if you must know, Optus is an Australian telecom company that helped to launch Netflix down under last week, and now it’s enlisted the comedian/actor/producer to star in ads for the service. The problem is that once you have already given someone their “shedload” of cash, it’s hard to keep them motivated to actually promote the service. It seems Gervais does eventually get his mind in the game, as seen below, so long as he gets to throw a little promotion for himself into the mix.
