Coca-Cola has jumped on the 3D printing bandwagon, snapping scans of customers and printing out a mini figurine to promote the brand’s mini bottles in Israel. Working with agency Gefan Team, the launched a mobile app, where people created mini avatars and had to take care of them, Tamagachi/Farmville-style. The soft-drink maker then invited winners of the game to come to the headquarters, be scanned and receive their very own mini-me’s. Dear Coca-Cola Canada: please bring a 3D printer to town and make mini journalists? Pretty please? With a cherry on top?
