A digital queue
Samsung wants you to cut in line.

Instead of asking its fans to queue politely to get its new phone, Samsung New Zealand and BBDO created a digital line up, complete with an interactive billboard in Auckland. People wanting the latest smartphone simply had to sign up with an avatar. Each retweet, mention or other social interaction from that person would help them cut in line, which would play out on the life-sized billboard. While very cool, didn’t anyone ever tell those Kiwis its rude to cut in line?
