Mercedes-Benz is now making high-tech surfboards.
As if speeding down windy roads in ads isn’t boastful enough already, Mercedez-Benz is now taking to the choppy seas with a surfboard that tracks tricks. The BBDO Portugal-created board is as slick as you’d expect from the luxury brand, and it includes a wetsuit with telemetry technology to measure the owner’s (pro surfer Garett McNamara) performance and transmit the data back to a device. The brand has also teased at launching a yacht. What vessel will they think of next? Spaceships?
