A city of sugar
Brita builds an argument to ditch soda.
Seeing nine sugar cubes stacked might not look like a lot in a single can of soda. But what about when the amount of soda someone has in a year has enough cubes to build a city block? Or when the amount in their lifetime is enough to build a whole city? Trying to drive home the health benefits of drinking filtered water over sugary soda, Brita built such a city with 221,314 sugar cubes, the amount a soda drinker will have over the course of their life. And if the video isn’t enough to drive the point home for you, a real-life version of the city was put on display yesterday in New York City’s Chelsea Market, where it will stand until Thursday.
