Coca-Cola makes a lasting impression
The brand hides temporary tattoos of family names on its cans.
How many times can Coke recycle its “name on a can” concept before we’re over it? Probably only a few, but we’re glad to see it’s still managing to be creative about it, especially with the latest project that transfers temporary tattoos of family names to a person’s body, as part of its “Celebrate Heritage” campaign. It’s not just the idea of giving a family, and in this case those with Latino background (who are veraciously proud of their heritage), the opportunity to show their pride that makes this great, but it’s also the packaging genius behind this campaign. Hiding a temporary tattoo on a can that requires water (or the condensation beads on a coke) to transfer to a person’s skin is so simple, yet so smart, and we suspect only the folks at Coke could pull this one off.
