Headbanging new beer
Unibroue and Megadeth's Dave Mustaine are brewing a new ale for metal fans to try at the musician's 55th birthday party.

Beer and metal music. The two seem to go hand-in-hand these days, particularly (and interestingly) in Quebec.
We saw Budweiser join forces with Metallica to brew a rocking beer last year, and now it’s Megadeth’s turn to craft it’s own ale — craft being the operative word, as it’s forgone the mainstream path and paired up with one of the world’s largest independent beer cos, Unibroue, on the new bev.
Well, actually, it’s more lead guitarist and Megadeth founder Dave Mustaine who has partnered with the brand, but that’s because he has very good reason: the thrash metal rocker celebrates his big five-five this year, and wanted to commemorate the birthday with a beer of mega proportions. It’s not yet brewed, but we gather from this spot below that the musician seems to be too eager to hold in the news, which includes an invitation to a party held in his honour.
