Living forever

Old Spice encourages wannabe Olympians.

The Olympics have traditionally been an opportunity for brands to support athletes and encourage future Olympians to dream big. Old Spice is no different – but its Olympic-inspired spot is told in its own unique voice. The spot, by Wieden + Kennedy, starts off with a scrawny man repeating the mantra, “I will make it to the big championship. I will win all the medals,” and concludes with the desire for immortality in the form of crackers. But what makes this spot great is the deodorant-shaped cassette player. That is definitely swag Old Spice should consider passing out.
